Recognition and appreciation are always important and essential to keep the spirits high for the employees it is essential and compulsory for the management to give out employee recognition awards. In the present times when the attrition rates are high and the employees are always ready to change their jobs for better opportunities, it is important for the management to appreciate the employees who appreciate their hard work and talent, as this is what will keep them motivated and remain loyal to the company. It is essential for companies to allocate a part of the budget for recognition awards that they should periodically give to their employees.


It is always good to have fresh talent and for that employ new people, but one should never forget that experience does truly matter. If one can retain their employees they can always save on a lot of time which might have to be spent on the training of new employees. Giving awards as a token of appreciation of the hard work put in my employees is always a good thing as when the employees know that they are being appreciated they will work with more enthusiasm and this motivation at the end will be of benefit to the company.

Investing in employees always pays off and is more profitable and thus, management should take every opportunity to appreciate the work that their best employees do as this will not only make them work harder but will also motivate the others to work harder and work towards achieving the award.

Employees appreciate trophies which they can show off to people and they would also value something that is of use to them and their family. Employers have a lot of options available when they want to choose recognition awards for their staff. One should keep in mind that what they give is appreciated by employees and is also of good quality as giving something which is not good and is a taken of appreciation can put off the employees instead of boosting their morale and motivation. Choosing the awards keeping the choice of the employees and also the budget of the company is essential as this will be good for the growth of the company.
